AUSONIA HOTEL IN FOLLONICA
Ausonia was born in the ’50s and has always been run by the Pierini family.
Actually it’s a three stars hotel with 27 rooms, garden and private beach on the Gulf of Follonica. His location is perfect because is in city center between pine forest and seafront, perfect for visiting the city and its attractions, know the nearby beaches, historical and archaeological surroundings.
With few kilometers, you can reach the internal hills of Maremma Toscana; almost intact rural landscapes, Etruscan and Medieval settlements, many historical villages and the famous cellars signed by the greatest Italian architects. The hotel is accessible, pet friendly and loved by bikers.

Ausonia is a pet-friendly hotel: Your 4-legged friends are welcome, just follow a few basic rules of coexistence and pay a small surcharge for the necessarily more thorough cleaning. The bicycle is a fast way to get to know the city and visit some nearby areas worth visiting, such as Cala Violina, Cala Martina or the Sterpaia Coastal Park. They can be requested at reception and are free for short trips. For day trips or for the entire stay, the alternative is rental at the partner store where you can find e-bikes and assistance. They’re located on three floors of the main building and are different from each other, being the Ausonia an historic building; but the standard of “Ausonia service” is in each of them, whether they are called Comfort, Standard or Large Single Room.
They are all equipped with bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar with complimentary water, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, TV.
